Terms of service

Last updated 14 September 2026. These terms govern your use of the Pluggo powerbank network, this website and the Pluggo mobile applications, operated by PLUGGO S.A.R.L..

1. Who we are

The Pluggo service is provided by PLUGGO S.A.R.L., a limited liability company registered in Lebanon, with its registered office at Youssef Building, Floor 6, Main Street, Rabaya, Zouk Mosbeh, Kesrouan, Lebanon. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean PLUGGO S.A.R.L., and "you" means the person using the service.

2. What the service is

We operate stations that lend portable powerbanks for a fee. A rental begins when a powerbank is released from a slot and ends when it is fully inserted into a free slot at any station in our network and the slot locks. The powerbank remains our property throughout.

3. Starting a rental

To rent, you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. You start a rental by scanning the code on a station and authorising payment. The applicable rate and any deposit or authorisation hold are shown to you before the powerbank is released.

4. Fees and charges

  • Rentals are charged by time, at the rate shown on the station and in the app at the moment the rental starts.
  • A daily cap applies, so a single day of use cannot exceed the capped amount.
  • If a powerbank is not returned within the non-return period stated at the station, the rental closes and a non-return fee equal to the replacement value of the unit becomes payable.
  • Taxes are included or added as required by law and shown before you confirm.

5. Returning a powerbank

You may return a powerbank to any free slot at any Pluggo station. If every slot at a station is occupied, go to another station or contact support. We will close the rental where a return was genuinely prevented by the network. Leaving a powerbank with venue staff, in a bag, or anywhere other than a slot does not end a rental.

6. Taking care of the powerbank

While a powerbank is with you, you are responsible for it. Please do not open it, modify it, immerse it in water, expose it to heat or fire, use it with damaged cables, or lend it on to someone else as your own. Report a damaged or overheating unit to us immediately and stop using it.

7. Loss, theft and damage

If a powerbank is lost, stolen or returned damaged beyond normal use, the non-return or damage fee applies. Tell us as soon as you know; we will not charge a damage fee for a fault that was already present in the unit.

8. Availability

We do our best to keep stations stocked and working, but we do not guarantee that a particular station will have a powerbank or a free slot available at a particular time. Stations may be removed, moved or taken out of service, including when a venue closes or changes.

9. Your account and the app

If you create an account, keep your access to it secure and tell us if you think someone else is using it. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Pluggo apps for renting powerbanks. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or interfere with the apps, the stations or our systems.

10. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, damage or tamper with our equipment, remove a powerbank from a station by force, obstruct another person's use of a station, or attempt to access our systems without authorisation. We may suspend or close an account that does any of these.

11. Refunds

Where a charge results from a fault on our side, such as a powerbank that does not deliver charge, a station that will not accept a return, or a rental that did not start, contact support and we will correct it. Requests are handled case by case and we aim to respond within one business day.

12. Liability

We are responsible for providing the service with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss arising from a station being unavailable, or for damage caused by misuse of a powerbank contrary to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time your rental starts is the version that applies to that rental. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this website.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and the competent courts of Kesrouan, Lebanon have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.
