Privacy policy
Last updated 14 September 2026. This policy explains what PLUGGO S.A.R.L. collects when you rent a powerbank, visit this website or use the Pluggo app, and what we do with it.
Who is responsible for your data
PLUGGO S.A.R.L. ("Pluggo", "we", "us") operates the Pluggo powerbank network, this website and the Pluggo mobile applications. Our registered office is Youssef Building, Floor 6, Main Street, Rabaya, Zouk Mosbeh, Kesrouan, Lebanon. For any question about this policy, write to tech@gopluggo.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Your mobile number, used to identify your rentals and to contact you about one
- Your name and email address, if you create an account or write to us
- The content of messages you send to our support or partnership addresses
Information created when you rent
- Which station you took a powerbank from and which station you returned it to
- The start time, end time and duration of the rental
- The amount charged and the outcome of the payment
- The identifier of the powerbank and the slot involved
Information collected automatically
- Device and app version information, used to diagnose faults
- Approximate location, only while the app is open and only to show nearby stations. You can refuse this and still rent from any station
- Basic server logs for this website, including IP address and pages requested
What we do not collect
Our stations do not contain cameras and do not record images, video or audio. The screens on our stations display advertising on a schedule; they do not identify, film or measure the people in front of them. We do not read anything from the phone you connect to a powerbank. The cable supplies power only.
Payment information
Card and payment details are collected and processed by our payment providers. We receive a confirmation of whether a payment succeeded, the amount, and a reference. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Why we use your data
- To start, run, end and bill a rental, which is the contract between us
- To answer your support messages and resolve disputes about a charge
- To detect fraud and misuse of the network, and to protect our equipment
- To keep accounting and tax records required by law
- To understand how the network is used in aggregate, so we know where to place stations
Advertising on our screens
Advertising shown on station screens is scheduled by venue category, district and time of day. It is not targeted at individuals and does not use your rental history, your device, or any personal data. Advertisers receive reports on how often a campaign played and across which venue categories, never information about who was present.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only with the parties needed to run the service: our payment providers, our hosting and infrastructure providers, the supplier of the station hardware platform for the technical operation of rentals, and professional advisers where required. We also disclose data where the law or a competent authority requires it. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Rental and transaction records are kept for as long as the law requires us to keep accounting records. Support correspondence is kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs are kept for a short retention window and then deleted. Account data is deleted on request unless we are required to retain it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to tech@gopluggo.com from the address associated with your account, or include the mobile number you rent with so we can identify the records.
Children
The Pluggo service is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls on our systems, and restrict access to rental records to the staff who need it. No system is perfect, so if you think an account has been misused, tell us immediately.
Cookies and this website
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our web server keeps standard access logs. Fonts and the CSS framework are loaded from public content delivery networks, which will see the request your browser makes to them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will say so in the app or on this website.
